This is a fully self-contained studio flat. Studios of this type are typically 18-20 sqm. Studios offer the best of both worlds: your own private space to study, eat, sleep and cook AND access to the common room and courtyard where you can meet other residents.
These studios include: a double bed and mattress with a brand new mattress protector; a desk, chair and drawers; a wardrobe; compact dining table or breakfast bar with seating; a pinboard; vacuum cleaner. Kitchen area with: 2 burner electric hob; combination microwave oven/grill; fridge with ice compartment; sink with mixer tap; kettle; toaster. Ensuite with: toilet; shower; basin; mirror cabinet; shaver light. Also a TV is available on request at no charge (obtaining a TV Licence remains the responsibility of the tenant). Please note, some photographs show the studio whilst occupied so additional soft furnishings, possessions, etc may be visible – these additional items are not provided with the room.
The Artisan is in central Bournemouth, close to the town centre, beaches and nightlife. The Lansdowne Campus is a short walk away and there is a dedicated bus direct to the main Talbot Campus.
Our common room includes a big screen tv, foosball table and retro arcade machine (both are free to play). There is an on-site coin-operated laundry room. Our friendly reception team are on site during office hours Monday to Friday and can help with directions, answering questions and signing for your deliveries – for you to collect later.
For your peace of mind contents insurance is included through a specialist student policy from Howden. Other measures include security camera coverage of entrances, common spaces and the cycle store.
