The Artisan, Lansdowne

The Artisan is in central Bournemouth, close to the town centre, beaches and nightlife. The Lansdowne Campus is a short walk away and there is a dedicated bus direct to the main Talbot Campus.

Our common room includes a big screen tv, pool table and retro arcade machine (both are free to play), and a vending machine filled with snacks and drinks. There is an on-site coin-operated laundry room. Our friendly reception team are on site during office hours Monday to Friday and can help with directions, answering questions and signing for your deliveries – for you to collect later.

For your peace of mind contents insurance is included through student specialists Endsleigh. Up to £7,000 contents are covered with a £2,000 limit for computers (check the policy documents for full details). Other measures include security camera coverage of entrances, common spaces and the cycle store.

Our roof generates electricity with an array of solar panels. The Artisan has an Energy Performance Asset Rating of ‘B’ for communal areas , the individual studios have Energy Performance Certificates: 48 studios have a ‘B’ rating, and 36 studios have a ‘C’ rating, please enquire if you require more information.

Full time students are exempt from Council Tax (please check with BCP Council for full details). All studios are Council Tax band A.

Winton Halls is within walking distance of Talbot Campus and has a variety of shops close by, but still has good bus links to the town centre. You can choose from self-contained studios and ensuite rooms in shared flats. Prices start from £145 per week.
