Winton Halls is located right on Winton’s high street close to the shops and a short walk to Uni, also close by is Winton Library, Slades Park – which includes a skate park and velodrome, and Stour Valley Nature Reserve. Bournemouth’s town centre, beaches and nightlife are within easy reach – just a 20 minute bus or cycle ride away. This makes Winton Halls a great location to choose as your student accommodation, whether you opt for a studio or an ensuite room in a shared flat.
Our common room includes a big screen tv, foosball table and retro arcade machine (both are free to play), and a vending machine filled with snacks and drinks. Right next door is a public coin-operated launderette. The friendly reception team are on site during office hours Monday to Friday and can help with directions, answering questions and signing for your deliveries – for you to collect later.
For your peace of mind contents insurance is included through student specialists Endsleigh. Up to £7,000 contents are covered with a £2,000 limit for computers (check the policy documents for full details). Other measures include security camera coverage of entrances, common spaces and the cycle store.
Winton Halls main building is classified as a non-domestic building and has an Energy Performance Asset Rating of ‘C’. Some studios have their own EPC, which are also rated ‘C’.
Full time students are exempt from Council Tax (please check with BCP Council for full details). All studios are Council Tax band A, en-suite rooms are part of a cluster flat which is band B or D.
